Using PolyMorph For Plastic Repairs

Polymorph is an amazing strong plastic that melts at the boiling temperature and a household Kettle, and is handle-able almost straight out of the water.

Once heated the white polymorph beads become translucent and soft and can be moulded into just about any shape.  I use it all the time, its a bit like use hot glue, but only a lot stronger, and doesn't burn my fingers when I'm handling it.

I use it extensively in repairing cracked and shattered old plastic toys, robots and anything it will stick too.

Here are some video's of how I'm using it, which also show how to melt and apply it.  Watch all of them get get a great understanding on what you can be using it for.

Its also very cheap, and if you screw up using it, you just chuck it back into a cup of hot water and start again, its that simple.

Home Made Polymorph Dog Bone Hair Dryer Shaping

Testing if a Home Made Polymorph Figure of Eight Dog Bone can be re-shaped using a standard hair dryer.

Hot Rolling A Polymorph Replacment Cog From Surrounding Cogs And Gears

Lots of toys and gadgets have plastic gears as they are cheap, but a prone to fatigue and breaking.  Parts are often not available turning the device into broken landfill.  Here is a simple method to be worked on, for model making and repair.
