How To Fix Cracked And Broken Plastic Box Lids
Most storage box plastic doesn't recycle and becomes brittle over time. These box usually break when taking the lids on and off and my wife had two boxes which suffered such breakages. Rather than throw them out, and them end up in landfill, I decided I'd fixed1t applying a think layer of Flexible Hot Glue from a hot glue gun, but hot glue by its nature leaves and ugly mess. Here is how to make it look better whilst at the same time strengthening the bond and fix.
